PocketVenice Inventory is an optional module that provides a mobile solution to extend the warehouse management capabilities to the shop floor and enhance the real-time collection of inventory data. Utilizing multiple methods of data entry, from bar code scanning to manual field entry, this system maintains the flexibility to handle the realities of a working warehouse environment.

PocketVenice takes advantage of proven Pocket PC technology using the latest design and support of the Pocket PC 2002 environment. Data collected by PocketVenice is pushed to the Venice database using a "syncing" process so that data can be exchanged in real-time with wireless technology, or in a batch store-and-forward model for cradle-based synchronizations.

The interface used by PocketVenice simplifies the task of gathering inventory data by using scanners, handwriting tools, and/or screen-based or external keyboards.

Real-time queries can be run using PocketVenice. The easy-to-use selection criteria make query submissions quick and easy. Query results are displayed on the handheld device giving the user current information on your organization's inventory items.
